Business Continuity Manager Position

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing international strategies and plans to ensure business continuity.

• Develop and enhance the Business Continuity Management system across the entire organization.
• Provide expert guidance to departments and regional companies on conducting Business Impact Analyses with a focus on business disruption risks.
• Design, document, and update Business Continuity Plans and recovery concepts in collaboration with departments.
• Coordinate and conduct training sessions and BCM tests.
• Report and monitor business continuity maturity and identified risks within operational departments and regional companies.
• Support the international crisis management team (documentation, processes, induction, systems) and provide assistance in case of operational crisis management work as needed.

Requirements

• Completed studies in security management, economics, law, computer science, or industrial engineering.
• Several years of experience in Business Continuity Management, preferably combined with project management, risk management, or corporate security experience.
• Certification in CBCI, CBCM, or CBCP is desirable.
• Experience in setting up security processes and standards (ISO 27001, 27031, 22301, BSI-Grundschutz, GPG).
• Sound understanding of methods for creating Business Impact Analysis (BIA), risk analysis, and Business Continuity Plans.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
• Interest in national and international business trips and taking over standby duty.
• Willingness to work predominantly at our international headquarters in Neckarsulm.
