Core Engineer (all genders)

You’re not just writing code; you’re building the foundation of Lio’s enterprise AI platform. Your work will power our SaaS and Agent products, making them scalable, reliable, and impactful for global customers. You’ll help translate real-world customer needs into robust technical solutions that drive measurable value.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement agent-based architectures and workflows
• Build and scale high-performance cloud SaaS systems across backend and frontend
• Turn product and customer requirements into production-ready solutions
• Own initiatives end-to-end, from architecture to deployment
• Occasionally interact with customers to clarify needs and ensure successful delivery
• Continuously improve code quality and engineering standards

Your Profile

You’re a good fit for this role if you:

• Have 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in cloud SaaS applications, with strong expertise in Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar languages OR are a recent Master’s graduate from a top university (TUM, Oxford, Ivy League, ETH, KIT, etc.) with hands‑on development experience through internships, working student positions, or personal projects
• Are passionate about writing clean, maintainable code and building products that delight users
• Think end-to-end: from system design to production‑ready implementation
• Thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment and take ownership of critical technical decisions
• Can communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
