Corporate Communications Senior Manager, Germany

SHEIN is seeking a senior communications professional to lead its communications strategy in Germany, based in Berlin. This role will be responsible for defining and executing SHEIN’s corporate communications approach in one of its most important European markets.

The position requires experience managing complex reputational environments for large global brands, and the proven ability to drive clear, credible communications strategies in support of business and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will act as a senior advisor to regional and global leadership, combining strategic counsel, media engagement, and stakeholder positioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead SHEIN's corporate communications strategy for Germany, aligned with global priorities and regional objectives.
• Develop and drive clear, consistent messaging on corporate, business, and reputational topics for German audiences.
• Oversee proactive and reactive media engagement across national, regional, and trade outlets; act as spokesperson when appropriate.
• Provide senior-level counsel on reputational issues, crisis scenarios, and sensitive topics in a highly scrutinised environment.
• Shape narratives that position SHEIN credibly with media, stakeholders, and opinion leaders across the German market.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in corporate communications, public affairs, media relations, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of the German media landscape, stakeholder environment, and reputational dynamics.
• Experience advising senior executives on high-profile or sensitive issues, ideally within a regulated or highly scrutinised sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex narratives involving business, regulatory, and public-interest dimensions.
• Excellent writing, messaging, and narrative development skills.
• Strong media relations experience with German national and business press.
