Data Analyst (Energy/Utilities)

We are seeking a data-driven professional to bridge the gap between complex energy market data and actionable business strategy. You will be responsible for developing high-impact

Power BI

solutions that monitor grid flexibility, trading performance, and renewable integration.

Key Responsibilities BI Development:

Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and reports in

Power BI

to track KPIs such as consumption forecasting, market prices, and asset performance. Data Modeling:

Clean and transform large datasets from various sources (SQL, Snowflake, or Azure Data Lake) using

DAX

and

Power Query . Market Analysis:

Support trading and operations teams by analyzing trends in European energy markets (Day-ahead, Intraday, and Ancillary services). Optimization:

Identify patterns in energy consumption and generation to improve forecasting accuracy and curtailment signals.

Required Qualifications Technical Skills:

Proficiency in

Power BI , SQL, and Python or R for statistical modeling. Industry Knowledge:

Experience within the

Energy Industry , specifically understanding Power Trading, Renewable Energy (Solar/Wind), or ETRM systems. Education:

Degree in Data Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Soft Skills:

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
