Are you a technical professional interested in joining an elite team and learning the skills necessary to maintain one of the world's largest information system infrastructures? We are currently expanding our infrastructure team and are looking for IT Specialists/IT Electronics Engineers.

You will be part of the Data Center Operations (DCO) team, overseeing the operation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and hardware for data centers in AWS Cloud regions. You will become the primary resolver for your support team, and gain troubleshooting skills on different hardware and software cases. You will be able to troubleshoot and solve most infrastructure issues and engage other appropriate solutions groups on more complex problems to drive solutions.

Du bist Teil des Data Center Operations (DCO)-Teams, das für den Betrieb und die Wartung der IT-Infrastruktur und der Hardware der Rechenzentren in AWS Cloud-Regionen zuständig ist. Du wirst der primäre Ansprechpartner deines Supportteams sein und Kenntnisse im Bereich der Fehlerbehebung in unterschiedlichen Hard- und Softwaregebieten erlangen. Außerdem wirst du in der Lage sein, für die meisten Infrastrukturprobleme eine Fehlerdiagnose vorzunehmen und sie zu lösen. Bei Bedarf werden komplexere Probleme an die entsprechenden Lösungsgruppen weitergeleitet. Ebenfalls in deinen Zuständigkeitsbereich fällt die Sicherstellung der Verfügbarkeit.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Safety – Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster a strong safety culture.
• Data Center Operations (DCO) – Diagnose hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs.
• Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required.
• Work rotating shifts (morning/late/night) as well as weekends to maintain the 24/7 data center environment.
• On-call rotation reaction to off‑Duty emergency calls.

Basic Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience in networking.
• This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
