Data & Cloud Intern (m/f/d)*

Start your Munich Re journey within Reinsurance Accounting in the division RIA LH Global Finance Process Automation and Development.

Munich Re, the world’s largest reinsurer, is looking for an intern in our reinsurance accounting team with data science background.
Becoming an intern will provide you the chance to gain insights into the processes and work practices of global accounting departments and their interfaces. The team you are supporting is driving the global accounting process digitalization. Your internship can be first (next to) fulltime and then switch to part-time. It should overall last at least six months.
The position is based in Munich.

Your Job

• Assisting in data analysis and preparation work
• Assisting in the implementation of automation solutions
• Work on cloud solutions (Azure) including data pipelines and visualizations

Your Profile

• Undergraduate or postgraduate with major in Mathematics / Data Science / Actuarial Science / Insurance / Statistics / Physics are preferred
• First experience with any programming language, preferably C# / R / SQL is a must
• Knowledge of working with databases and cloud applications (Azure) or actuarial mathematics is an advantage
• Affinity for teamwork also internationally, proficiency in German and English

Students of countries outside the EU are requested to send their residence/work permit.
