Data Engineer - Snowflake and SQL

Data Engineer (Freelance / B2B Contract – 100% Remote from Europe)

We’re looking for talented Data Engineers with strong Snowflake experience and develop SQL procedures based in Europe to join an established UK-based client on a freelance B2B contract.

Key details:

• 🌍 Location: 100% remote (within Europe)
• 🤝 Contract type: Freelance / B2B
• Language: Fluent English (essential for daily communication with the UK team)

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the client’s data platform.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers to accelerate delivery.
• Develop and optimise SQL procedures and data workflows.
• Work with Snowflake as the primary data platform.
• (Nice to have) Familiarity with Matillion as an ETL tool.
• (Nice to have) Exposure to AWS S3 storage.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Proven ability to design and develop SQL procedures.
• Ability to work independently and contribute from day one.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
• Suitable for mid-level to experienced engineers — not junior, but you don’t need to be a lead either.
