➢ Distribution Centre Manager

Tasks

• Design and implement cost‑effective and high‑quality distribution center operations and logistics services
• Recruit, develop, and build a high‑performing team while establishing the organizational structure for the new distribution center
• Identify and integrate industry best practices into the distribution center’s core processes
• Plan, organize, and execute daily operations to achieve distribution center objectives
• Proactively drive process improvements to optimize workflows within the center
• Oversee all activities from goods receiving to picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring top service levels and adherence to Weber’s brand standards
• Analyze and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to enable data‑driven decisions and continuous improvement
• Manage the distribution center budget with a focus on cost‑efficiency and value creation
• Actively contribute to initiatives that support Weber’s growth and strategic goals
• Collaborate with senior management to achieve company targets and objectives
• Ensure team members and partners are well‑trained and equipped to execute their responsibilities effectively
• Guarantee that all distribution activities comply with Health & Safety standards and regulations
• Resolve operational challenges promptly to minimize disruptions to the supply chain
• Utilize advanced logistics tools and technologies to enhance overall distribution efficiency

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in driving Distribution responsibility
• Experience in building and implementing warehousing processes
• Success in managing large teams
• In‑depth knowledge of supply chain and distribution best practices
• Open‑minded and oriented toward continuous improvement and innovation
• Hands on approach and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Fluent in English and German, with excellent communication abilities
• Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP system)
• SAP know‑how and experience in leading seasonal business is an advantage
