Deputy Chief Representative (m/f/d)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented finance professional with 15–20 years of experience in Export Finance, Structured Trade Finance, and International Business. The ideal candidate will play a preparatory key role in assisting in explanation of structuring complex international trade transactions to potential and existing clients’ financing needs, while ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the Head Office and regulatory bodies.
This position requires a sound understanding of international banking practices, export credit agencies (ECAs), global risk mitigation techniques and financial analysis of corporate balance sheets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Catalyst for Improving Efficiency of Transaction Execution & Client Engagement
  • Assist from a local perspective by directly communicating to clients for their comprehension of Head Office products in origination, structuring, and executing export and structured finance transactions (including ECA-backed loans, buyer’s credit, supplier credit).
  • Assist as an intermediary whenever coordination is necessary between Head Office, ECAs (e.g., Euler Hermes) and corporate clients, correspondent banks in local market.
  • Assist in clarification of term sheets, credit proposals, and loan documentation to local clients in coordination with Head Office export finance, legal and compliance teams.
• Risk & Credit Analysis
  • Understand credit and risk analysis for export finance projects and structured deals.
  • Collaborate with the credit department for providing market information for preparation of internal approval credit files and risk mitigation strategies.
• Head Office & Regulatory Reporting
  • Prepare and submit accurate, periodic reports to the Head Office covering various required reporting aspects (e.g. expense reporting).
  • Coordinate and support regulatory reporting under applicable frameworks (e.g. Turkish Banking Regulation Supervision Agency reporting).
• Portfolio Management
  • Assist Head Office, whenever required, for monitoring the performance of structured trade finance transactions and ensure compliance with covenants and other loan agreement conditions.
  • Support Head Office, whenever necessary, in the post-disbursement phase as an intermediary between Head Office teams and local Corporate Borrowers / Banks.
• Strategic & Business Development Support
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new market opportunities and deepening client relationships across geographies.
  • Assist in preparing internal strategy presentations, country/sector briefings, and transaction case studies.
  • Prepare travel arrangements & client meetings

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, International Business, or Engineering; MS or MBA is a plus.
• Extensive experience in export finance, structured trade, project finance, or international banking.
• Strong knowledge / understanding of ECA-backed finance, Short Term Trade Finance Instruments, Corporate Balance Sheets.
• Proficiency in understanding financial modelling and credit analysis.
• Excellent command of English (oral and written); competence in German is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience with international clients and reporting to global headquarters is highly desirable.
