Deputy IT Manager (m/f/d)

Your Area Of Responsibility

• Participation in the strategic planning and implementation of the IT strategy
• Planning, managing and implementing IT projects, including resource and time planning
• Development and implementation of IT security concepts
• Support in the selection and implementation of specialist systems
• Monitoring and optimisation of the existing IT infrastructure
• Creating and maintaining documentation on IT systems and projects
• Cost control and optimisation of IT expenditure
• Organisation and implementation of training courses for employees on the use of IT systems and applications and on IT security topics
• Close cooperation with other departments
• Interface between IT and external partners
• Contact person for all IT‑related issues within the company

Our Requirements

• Professional qualification:
  • Completed studies in computer science, completed training as an IT specialist – System integration with appropriate further training or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in the IT sector, ideally in the support of entire IT landscapes
  • In‑depth knowledge of network and server administration as well as open‑source technologies
  • Sound knowledge of IT security standards and data protection regulations
  • Experience in the planning and implementation of IT projects
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. proALPHA) is an advantage
• Personal qualification:
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and analytical thinking
  • High self‑motivation and willingness to take on responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adaptability in a dynamic environment with changing requirements
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, coordination and organisational skills as well as the ability to work under pressure and in a team
• Additional qualification:
  • Fluent written and spoken German
  • Very good written and spoken English skills
  • Experience in the mechanical engineering or manufacturing industry an advantage
  • Additional IT certificates desirable
