Deputy Medical Director – Radiation Oncology A leading European center for particle therapy and translational cancer research is seeking a Deputy Medical Director with a background in Radiation Oncology. The Role As Deputy Medical Director you will support and represent the Medical Director in clinical and strategic matters, provide leadership and guidance to medical teams, contribute to the continuous development of clinical standards and structures, actively participate in clinical research and study design, represent the institution within national and international professional networks and help shape the future direction of a highly specialized oncology center. Leadership is understood not as hierarchy but as a contribution to quality, team culture and patient-centered care. The position combines approximately 50 percent medical leadership responsibility and 50 percent clinical and scientific activity as a Radiation Oncologist.
Your Profile Board-certified Specialist in Radiation Oncology or equivalent European recognition Several years of clinical experience in radiation oncology Proven leadership experience or clearly demonstrated leadership potential Experience in an academic or research-driven environment is highly desirable Strong communication skills and the ability to operate in interdisciplinary settings Strategic mindset combined with clinical pragmatism Fluent German or willingness to acquire, as well as good English skills
