Deputy Project Manager-BESS

We ARE looking for a Deputy Project Manager to manage daily coordination across engineering teams, site teams, subcontractors, and inspectors for a 5-site BESS programme in Germany.

You will own project controls, scheduling, design review coordination, document management, and weekly/monthly reporting. You will be the backbone of daily execution across all five sites.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Manage daily coordination across engineering, site teams, subcontractors, and inspectors.
• Track daily progress, site blockers, material readiness, FAT/SAT schedules, NCRs, and punch-lists.
• Build and update week-ahead and month-ahead schedules for all 5 sites.
• Maintain design-change register and consolidate reviewer comments.
• Own daily operation of the Document Management System (DMS): folder structure, workflows, transmittals, registries.
• Prepare bilingual (DE/EN) weekly and monthly reporting packages.
• Maintain risk registers, issue logs, and NCR registers.

Requirements / Your Profile:

• Mandatory: 5–8 years in project engineering / coordination roles.
• Mandatory: Bilingual (English + German) — required for reporting and meetings.
• Strong scheduling, reporting, and multi-tasking ability.
• Familiarity with DMS workflows and EPC documentation processes.
• Basic technical understanding of civil, electrical, BESS, and SCADA systems.
• Applicants must clearly state bilingual ability and relevant project coordination experience on CV (MANDATORY).
