Design Manager (all genders) - Luxury Retail

WHAT YOU DO

• In coordination with Project Management, you are responsible for converting campaign briefings into sustainable retail campaigns in the luxury sector
• Your tasks include the technical implementation of window campaigns with a high aesthetic standard, whereby you are in close interdisciplinary dialogue with prototyping, production and the client
• You will be responsible for selecting materials and creating technical drawings and production documents while adhering to budget and time schedules
• You will be responsible for quality gates in production & set-up, provide production-related instructions and create customer presentations for prototyping, visual merchandising and pre-assembly
• You will visit locations and supervise the installation of shop windows, check technical possibilities on site and be in close contact with our customers

WHO YOU ARE

• You have a degree in the technical or design field (e.g. theatre or stage design) and relevant professional experience, ideally related to prototyping and production
• Experience in handling creative briefings (especially regarding technical descriptions, compositions, colours & materials, surfaces and feasibility)
• You are proficient in at least one 3D and one visualisation program and have knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel)
• Strong communication skills in English and German and you are motivated to work on site at installations within Germany & the Benelux countries
• You work independently and responsibly and have a high attention to detail as well as an interest in fashion, innovation, sustainability and craftsmanship
