As a Development Expert (m/f/d) specializing in contact and spring technology, you will drive global development initiatives and play a key role in innovating and advancing our products and processes. Join our international team and bring your expertise to a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Manage and oversee international development projects in the field of contacts and springs – from concept to successful implementation.
• Technology Integration: Introduce innovative technologies and best practices into our products and processes.
• Material Selection: Select and approve suitable materials, considering functionality, cost, and regulatory requirements.
• Partnership Management: Establish and maintain sustainable partnerships with research institutes and universities.
• Technical Support: Provide support for technical inquiries related to the development and production of contact and spring components.
• Knowledge Sharing: Promote collaboration and knowledge exchange within the HARTING Technology Group.

Your Profile

• Degree (Bachelor/Master) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in developing contact and spring components, ideally with simulation expertise
• Solid knowledge of materials and technologies in the contact/spring domain as well as project management skills
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented work style with a strong drive for innovation
• Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and a global mindset
• Very good command of German and English and willingness to travel occasionally for several days
