To support our operations at Interbros, we are looking for a motivated Development and Project Engineer - Production Automation to join our team

Job Profile

Process Optimization & Automation

• Analyze existing production processes and equipment to identify efficiency and improvement potential
• Drive automation initiatives and develop future‑oriented, cost‑efficient production concepts
• Lead automation projects from initial idea through to series production
• Assess the profitability of automation solutions through well‑founded business case analyses

Project & Requirements Management

• Independently manage technical projects from initial request to planning and final implementation
• Define requirement specifications as the basis for technical solutions
• Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including production engineering, injection moulding, stamping, packaging, purchasing, and quality assurance

Quality Assurance

• Ensure high quality and production standards
• Qualify and validate new machines and production systems prior to ramp‑up
• Degree in automation, plastics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical qualification (engineer / technician / master craftsman)
• Several years of experience in mechanical engineering or production automation, ideally in consumer goods or cosmetics
• Strong knowledge of process analysis, machine/system qualification and validation
• Solid experience in project management and quality assurance
• Experience in plastic injection moulding, toolmaking, or brush production is a plus
• Confident user of MS Office applications
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD systems (preferably Solid Edge) is an advantage
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus
• Analytical mindset, structured and independent working style, strong communication and teamwork skills
