Responsibilities
Virtual Reality (VR) Direction – Key Responsibilities
- Use professional VR software to conceptualize and produce full-vehicle and partial animations; optimize designs according to project requirements and feedback to highlight key design features.
- Complete full-vehicle review renderings and official image outputs, ensuring high-quality visual results through detailed control; render exterior and interior VR scenes to create immersive experiences.
- Evaluate VR deliverables from visual, interaction, and technical perspectives to ensure compliance with quality and industry standards.
- Research advanced VR technologies and, in alignment with the company’s development strategy, formulate technology development plans and implementation solutions.
- Guide designers in improving VR design capabilities, share experience and best practices, resolve technical challenges, and participate in the development of VR design standards and guidelines to ensure efficient and consistent team operations.
- Support designers in conducting remote collaborative design reviews with headquarters design teams.
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, processes, systems, and procedures, and complete ad-hoc tasks and support as required by the company.
Digital Modeling Direction – Key Responsibilities
- Support designers in executing digital modeling technical solutions, ensuring the quality of digital model deliverables meets project objectives and technical requirements, and controlling all discipline-specific inputs and outputs throughout the digital design process within defined timelines.
- Research new digital modeling technologies and innovatively introduce them into the design workflow.
- Execute internal training programs and specific capability development plans to enhance professional digital design competencies.
- In accordance with the styling design process, prepare digital design technical specifications, design workflows, and quality control standards.
- Collaborate with other design disciplines and support headquarters design teams, engineering, and other functions to provide essential design support for project development, driving project target definition and deliverable management.
- Assist in the analysis of quality issues encountered during project application, develop corrective action plans and implementation schedules, and promote continuous improvement and prevention of recurrence.
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies, processes, systems, and procedures, and complete ad-hoc tasks and support as required by the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Design or Automotive Design; requirements may be relaxed for candidates with exceptional capabilities.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in automotive virtual reality (VR) design and/or automotive digital modeling.
- Proficiency in English is required; German, Chinese, or other languages are a plus.
