Digital Hub Editor

The Digital Hub Editor supports and drives the development, implementation, and optimisation of the Digital Hub throughout its product lifecycle. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technology teams, this role translates strategy into actionable product roadmaps and delivery plans within a dynamic digital science communication environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive and support the development, implementation, and optimisation of the Digital Hub across defined product areas.
• Conduct product discovery and gather, document, and prioritise requirements to inform product direction in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Monitor Hub activities and performance and contribute to roadmap development and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and cross‑functional partners to deliver innovative digital solutions.
• Support the definition, tracking, and reporting of KPIs to maximise product value and impact within the science communication ecosystem.
• Communicate product developments, updates, and milestones to internal stakeholders and external partners in alignment with overall strategy.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product or platform management within a digital or technology‑driven environment.
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to engage and align cross‑functional teams across technical and editorial disciplines.
• Solid grounding in agile methodologies and proficiency with product management tools.
• Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated experience in defining, tracking, and deriving insight from KPIs.
• Full professional proficiency in English required; German is a valuable asset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in scientific publishing, academic communication, or information services.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven content tools, digital science communication platforms, or emerging digital formats.
• Formal product management certification or equivalent professional development.
• Proven ability to operate effectively within international or matrixed organisations.
