About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Workplace Architect (Associate Director) to define and govern enterprise-scale digital workplace solutions across Germany and the DACH region. You will own the workplace architecture vision, lead complex transformations, and ensure secure, compliant, and high-performing employee experiences.

This role sits at the intersection of architecture, security, delivery, and executive stakeholder engagement, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, modern endpoint management, Zero Trust, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the Digital Workplace target architecture and multi-year roadmap
• Lead solution design across Microsoft 365, Intune/UEM, Windows & macOS, VDI, and collaboration platforms
• Establish architecture standards, governance, and design guardrails
• Partner with Security, HR, and Works Councils (Betriebsrat) to ensure compliance and transparency
• Drive automation, experience analytics (DEX), and continuous improvement
• Support presales, solution costing, executive presentations, and vendor selection

Required Experience

• 12+ years in Digital Workplace / EUC with 7+ years in architecture or strategy roles
• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows 11, macOS, and VDI
• Solid understanding of Zero Trust, endpoint security, DLP, and compliance
• Consulting or presales experience with C-level stakeholder exposure
• Willingness to travel within DACH Region (20–40%)

Nice to Have

• TOGAF, ITIL, Microsoft, Citrix, or DEX-related certifications
• Experience working with Works Councils and GDPR/BDSG environments
• Exposure to ServiceNow, automation (PowerShell/Graph), and license optimization
