The Purpose:

The Digital Workplace team strives to enable every PPRO colleague to do their best work by providing a delightful, innovative, secure and frictionless technology experience.

We are looking for a visionary and deeply technical engineer to define and manage our Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) architecture. You\'ll be the primary driver for secure, efficient endpoint experiences, leveraging solutions like Workspace ONE, Okta, Google Workspace, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager.

This role requires architectural expertise, hands-on scripting skills and a strategic focus on security, compliance, and automation across the entire employee and device lifecycle.

The Digital Workplace Team are curious problem solvers, challenge seekers, and knowledge sharers for an extensive and diverse technology portfolio. This includes Meeting Rooms, Printers, MacBooks, Windows Laptops, BYOD iOS and Android devices, Okta, Google Workspace, Omnissa (VMware) Workspace ONE, Microsoft Office, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, and PPRO\'s own proprietary solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Endpoint Management Infrastructure Design, implement, and maintain PPRO’s UEM solution Omnissa (former VMware) Workspace ONE for all endpoints (macOS, Windows, iOS and Android), serving as the definitive subject matter expert.
  • Work with stakeholders and the team to collect and analyse business requirements, prioritise the backlog, design and implement solutions.
  • Design and implement PPRO application catalogue, ensure good coverage and efficient access.
  • Enable colleagues and PPRO partners to efficiently access PPRO information and services using BYOD solutions.
  • Drive and perfect Zero Touch Deployment (ZTD) using Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Windows Autopilot for seamless employee onboarding.
  • Leverage AI-enabled and agentic software engineering frameworks to develop complex automation scripts, manage configurations, and apply policies.
  • Lifecycle, Compliance & Automation Refine the full device and employee lifecycle, from new hires to off-boarding, leveraging Omnissa Intelligence to proactively manage our colleague device experience.
  • Complement PPRO’s Okta RBAC using Workspace ONE to tailor and configure applications and policies applicable to colleagues’ needs.
  • Work with the Security team to prioritise risk reduction measures including endpoint and application vulnerability management, data loss prevention (DLP), and compliance with information security frameworks (ISO 27001, DORA, SOC2), ensuring consistent policy enforcement and audibility.
  • Continue to refine and enhance Workspace ONE with key security technologies like Okta Device Trust and CrowdStrike Zero Trust Assessment (ZTA).
  • Management of endpoint accounts and privileged access.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation is created and maintained for all architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Strategy & Team Empowerment Champion “what is next,” identifying opportunities within existing and new PPRO technologies to continuously enhance the endpoint experience.
  • Mentor, educate, and delegate suitable MDM responsibilities to team members, building internal expertise, momentum and passion within the Digital Workplace team.
  • Some of the technologies you’ll get to work with: Google Workspace, Slack, Miro, Omnissa (VMware) Workspace ONE, Okta, Atlassian (Jira, Service Desk, Confluence), Gemini, AWS, CrowdStrike
  • You'll need to have: Excellent proficiency in English (spoken and written); 4+ years in Endpoint Management or infrastructure software engineering; software engineering mindset with ability to design and implement an infrastructure system that can produce scripts, automation and configuration; deep architectural and administrative experience with Omnissa Workspace ONE or alternatives (Microsoft Intune, JAMF); expert knowledge of Zero Touch Deployment methodologies (ABM, Autopilot); proven ability to implement and manage endpoint security policies across platforms (DLP, Conditional Access, patch management, device compliance); excellent skills in Windows, macOS, iOS and Android; familiarity with remote desktop applications and service desk software; strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and collaboration; outcome-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
