Role
We are looking for an experienced Customer Relationship and Sales Manager with strong product and business development skills to grow our presence in the European market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). This is a high-impact role focused on building long-term client partnerships, expanding business with existing customers, and bringing in new global fashion accounts.
Responsibilities
- Customer Relationships & Account Growth: Manage and strengthen relationships with key European (German) corporate clients; act as the liaison between clients and production/sourcing teams to ensure smooth communication and resolutions.
- Identify opportunities to grow turnover, product range, and margins.
- Host customer visits and showroom presentations professionally.
- Sales & Business Development: Build relationships with existing clients in Germany for business development; generate new leads and plan the roadmap for converting into partnerships.
- Introduce ZXY’s sourcing and product capabilities to new customers; represent ZXY at trade fairs, sourcing events, and industry forums.
- Product & Market Collaboration: Work closely with design, product development, and sourcing teams; present new product ideas, innovations, and sustainable solutions; share market insights on trends, pricing, and customer expectations; travel to sourcing regions every quarter.
Mandatory Experience & Skills
- 15–20 years in customer relationship management, sales, or business development.
- Strong knowledge of product, fabrics, manufacturing, and global supply chains.
- Proven ability to manage international clients and grow accounts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German.
- Strong professionalism and ability to represent the company at senior buyer level.
- Understanding of sustainability trends in the apparel industry.
- Experience working with global brands and multicultural teams in Asia.
- Strong collaboration skills across product, design, and sourcing functions.
Education Qualification
- Master’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- This position is based in Germany or Austria, reporting as a sales director based out of Germany.
