Director – Germany (Real Estate)

As part of our expansion into Germany, we are appointing a Director in Germany to build and lead the platform from the ground up. This is a senior, entrepreneurial role with full ownership over origination, underwriting, execution, and local team build-out, operating in close alignment with Lamar’s European HQ and Investment Committee. The role is designed for an individual who combines German operational rigor with an execution mindset suited to a fast-moving investment environment. Key Responsibilities

Origination:

Leverage your established German network to source off-market residential, commercial, and logistics opportunities. Underwriting:

Own end-to-end underwriting, including financial modelling, risk analysis, and technical due diligence Internal Advocacy:

Present and defend investment theses to the HQ Investment Committee under rigorous scrutiny. Fundraising & Capital Markets:

Represent Lamar in Germany and build relationships with LPs, family offices, and institutional partners Team & Platform Building:

Recruit and mentor a lean, high-performance local team, leveraging support from Dubai and Madrid. Execution Leadership:

Drive projects from thesis to institutional-grade delivery, managing stakeholders, timelines, and quality standards. The Ideal Candidate

Deep local experience in Germany with strong broker, developer, and owner relationships Generalist:

Comfortable across strategy, underwriting, and execution, from site visits to IC materials Entrepreneurial:

Self-directed, outcome-driven, and motivated by success-based compensation and long-term value creation. Cultural Bridge:

Fluent in German and English (Spanish a plus), with strong understanding of the German Mittelstand and international platforms. 7+ years of professional experience in real estate–related roles, such as private equity, investment banking, development, or principal investing, with transaction and asset-level exposure Country-level responsibility or experience building and scaling a real estate platform or business line Demonstrated fundraising capability with LPs, family offices, or institutional investors Proven track record of originating and executing transactions with relevant counterparties International experience outside Germany, ideally through education or work in markets such as London or New York What Success Looks Like

Within the first 12-18 months, the Director of Germany will have built a credible local platform with a repeatable origination engine, trusted capital relationships, and a growing portfolio executed to Lamar’s institutional standards.
