We - MT Management Service with locations in Augsburg and Peißenberg - are part of the space and technology group OHB. The Human Resources, Finance, Controlling and IT departments are centralised under our roof. With around 80 employees, we create greater transparency, ensure optimum coordination and make significant contributions to process optimisation in the companies we support, MT Aerospace and Aerotech Peißenberg.

Your Tasks

We are looking for YOU! We are now offering you the opportunity to start your career as part of a dual study programme (study with in-depth practical experience) in our IT department. Your 3.5-year course of study will begin with a 6-week preliminary internship. This will give you a first insight into the activities and processes in our company. On October 1, 2024, you will start your first semester at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences. Unlike normal students, you will have the advantage of gaining valuable practical experience during your lecture-free time (semester break and practical semester). You will also write your thesis on a practice-relevant topic in cooperation with the company.

• During your assignment at the company, you will gain practical insights into the structure and working methods of IT systems, software development methods, computer networks and databases in addition to the theoretical knowledge gained at university.
• You will be involved in the design and development of software applications
• You test, integrate and implement IT security measures
• You evaluate IT systems on the market and ensure the quality of the software applications.
• In addition, you will gain insights into project management and agile working methods

Your Qualifications

• General or subject-linked university entrance qualification completed by the start of the study program
• Fulfillment of the admission requirements for the Computer Science B.Sc. program at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences (numerus clausus)
• Interest in scientific contexts as well as technical and logical understanding
• Willingness to learn every day and to actively contribute to the program
