We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance Solution Architect or Senior Finance Functional Consultant who wants more than just the next project: someone who enjoys shaping solutions, advising clients at eye level, and contributing to the growth of our German (Central Europe) organization.

In this role, you will take a leading position in Dynamics 365 Finance implementations and pre‑sales engagements. You will analyze and re‑engineer finance processes, translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions, and contribute to solution design, architecture, and proposal development. Experience with Dynamics 365 Project Operations or project‑driven process models is a strong plus, as many of our German clients operate in professional services environments. Your expertise will span core Finance areas including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, and Credit & Collections and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end responsibility for Dynamics 365 Finance implementations, covering the full lifecycle from discovery and business analysis through solution design, implementation, and go-live.
  • Lead workshops to understand business processes, challenges, and strategic objectives, and translate them into well‑structured, scalable Dynamics 365 Finance solutions.
  • Drive solution ideation, architecture, and design, including the definition of target architectures, solution roadmaps, and implementation approaches, while ensuring alignment with best practices and sa.global standards.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by evaluating solution options, recommending suitable approaches, and supporting customer decision‑making with a strong focus on usability, scalability, and total cost of ownership.
  • Play an active role in pre‑sales engagements, including the design and delivery of tailored solution concepts, custom‑configured product demonstrations, and contributions to RFPs, RFIs, and proposal documents. You will additionally support scoping activities, solution blueprint creation, effort estimation, and participate in customer‑facing bid presentations together with our sales and delivery leads.
  • Continuously maintain and expand your industry and technology expertise, acting as an internal and external evangelist for Dynamics 365 Finance and contributing to thought leadership within sa.global.
  • Ensure solutions comply with statutory and regulatory finance requirements, including end‑to‑end tax compliance, e‑invoicing, e‑filling, VAT, and local statutory reporting, with particular consideration for German regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead or contribute to Germany rollouts and international multi‑country finance transformation programs, supporting large‑scale implementations through structured rollout strategies and execution.
  • Collaborate closely with global teams, mentor consultants, and actively contribute to quality delivery, knowledge sharing, and capability building across engagements.

Skills And Experience

  • Strong hands‑on experience in Dynamics 365 Finance implementations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Credit & Collections, tax localisation including E‑filling and E‑invoicing and Project Management and Accounting (PMA).
  • Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Solution Architect or Senior Finance Functional Consultant, with a solid consulting mindset and a strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Finance from a functional and implementation perspective.
  • Experience working with customers in the professional services industry and a good understanding of the specific challenges of project‑driven businesses.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with business and technical decision‑makers and actively support pre‑sales activities, including bid management, RFPs, and proposals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to explain complex topics clearly and convincingly to both clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to influence and advise stakeholders throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with the Electronic Reporting (ER/GER) framework, including the creation and modification of ER data models, model mappings, and format configurations, as well as implementing local regulatory requirements (e.g. XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, OSS/VAT reporting).
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field – or equivalent practical experience.

Travel

Primarily remote with occasional on‑site workshops in Germany; overseas travel is rare.
