EHS Manager – Semiconductor / Cleanroom Environment / C1 German

We are looking for an EHS Manager to join a world leading technology company at their manufacturing technology centre in Greater Munich Metropolitan Area .

You will lead EHS initiatives in a complex manufacturing setting. This role focuses on legal compliance, risk mitigation, & fostering a strong safety culture within semiconductor & cleanroom operations.

As an EHS Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the design & implementation of EHS programs compliant with OHSAS 18000 & ISO 14000 standards.
• Act as the appointed safety officer per German Occupational Safety regulations (ASiG §6).
• Conduct risk assessments & incident investigations; implement corrective & preventive actions.
• Manage relationships with external regulatory bodies, insurers, & EHS service providers.
• Support & guide internal teams on safety processes, audits, & emergency preparedness.
• Deliver regular training & workshops to ensure safety awareness & regulatory alignment.

As an EHS Manager your skills will include:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in chemistry, engineering, or related scientific field
• Certified as a safety specialist or equivalent qualification
• 10+ years of EHS experience in industrial environments, ideally within cleanroom or semiconductor facilities
• Strong understanding of German EHS regulations & international EHS management systems
• Proficient in English & at least C1 level German
• Confident communicator, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels
