Electrical Engineer - CNC & Automation

Responsibilities

• Planning, execution and evaluation of software and system tests for electron beam welding machines using welding, micro‑drilling and additive manufacturing technologies
• Further development of CNC and ocassionaly PLC software
• Assembly, commissioning, testing and optimization of electronic assemblies and systems
• Creation of test setups and their execution with corresponding documentation
• Systematic error analysis and troubleshooting on complex systems and service support

Requirements

• Completed vocational training with a focus on automation technology and a bachelor's degree in automation technology or further training as a state-certified technician
• Knowledge and professional experience in electrical engineering, control and automation technology, CNC, PLC, HMI systems and fieldbuses
• Experience with industrial controllers (Siemens SINUMERIK) or machine tools; experience in PLC programming with Step 7 Classic / TIA Portal
• Good basic knowledge in the field of electronics (analog and digital) and electronic measurement technology. Ideally, experience with CAD and simulation tools such as EAGLE, EPLAN or LTSPICE.
• Very good German and good English skills
