As an Electrical Systems Engineer (f/m/d), you play a leading role in driving technical activities within the electrical power group. This position is pivotal to the advancement of the innovation pipeline, with a strong focus on the development, enhancement, and maturation of advanced electrical systems and technologies.

The role is structured around three core pillars: technology development, system prototyping and validation, and technical leadership. Together, these dimensions provide a holistic framework that spans the full lifecycle of innovation—from early-stage concept development and strategic alignment through to hands‑on system testing and close collaboration across interdisciplinary teams.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead the design and development of novel electrical systems, components, and technologies from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Establish and refine operational plans and design methodologies for the electrical engineering domain to meet scientific standards and project goals.
• Oversee the creation and testing of advanced prototypes for new electrical systems to validate design concepts and performance characteristics.
• Design and execute complex experiments, analyzing results to ensure compliance with internal quality, safety, and external regulatory standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert in electrical systems, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
• Communicate complex technical concepts, project status, and outcomes effectively to senior leadership and external stakeholders.

What You Bring

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Extensive professional experience in technical product development, with a proven track record of leading complex engineering projects.
• Recognized expertise in electrical systems design, simulation, and validation within an R&D or innovation-focused environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with strategic thinking capabilities.
• Fluent in English; German at C1 level is appreciated.
