Electronics and Integration Technician (m/f/d)

Stellenbeschreibung:

Your mission

Lab Ownership & Safety

  • Maintain a clean, organized, ESD-safe lab; define bench layouts, shadow boards, tool cribs, and labeling standards.
  • Implement and enforce safety practices (ESD, PPE, LOTO for mains work, battery handling, fume extraction, MSDS/chemicals register).

Assembly & Integration

  • Assemble power boxes, camera/sensor modules, cable harnesses, and rugged enclosures (IP-rated) from drawings, BoMs, and work instructions.
  • Crimp, solder, and terminate military and industrial connectors (e.g., MIL-DTL-38999, M12, DSub, MC4, circulars); apply heat shrink, boots, backshells, strain relief.
  • Build and dress wire looms/harnesses; route and secure cables for shock/vibration and EMI/EMC best practices.
  • Perform mechanical fit-ups: drilling, tapping, panel mounting, gland installation, gasketing, enclosure sealing.

Electronics & Power

  • Handle 230VAC (Schuko/IEC) sub-assemblies (inlets, fusing, RCD, surge, filtering) safely; apply L/N/PE wiring conventions.
  • Integrate DC/DC converters, batteries, protection (fuses, breakers), and distribution; verify polarity, isolation, and grounding.

Documentation & Quality

  • Follow work instructions, IPC/WHMA workmanship standards, and QMS processes (e.g., ISO9001).
  • Create/update build records, test reports, travellers, as-built redlines, and kit lists.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements (fixtures, poke-yoke, ESD controls, test steps, labeling).

Your profile

  • 3–6 years hands-on experience as an electronics lab/production/integration technician or similar.
  • Strong skills in cable harnessing, hand soldering (THT + basic SMD), and precision crimping for circular/industrial connectors.
  • Safe work with 230VAC circuits and low-voltage DC power systems; familiarity with protective earth, fusing, and isolation.
  • Comfortable with schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings; can build from incomplete info and resolve ambiguities.
  • Proficient with DMM, bench supplies, scopes, and basic data logging; structured debugging approach.
  • Experience with 3D printing (FDM) and basic workshop tools (drill press, hand tools, torque tools, rivnuts, taps).
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to own the lab environment and improve it continuously.
  • Good written/spoken English for documentation; basic German is a plus (safety/labels).

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with MIL‑DTL‑38999, VG, LEMO, Amphenol, Binder, HARTING, Weipu, Deutsch connectors.
  • Knowledge of IPC‑A‑610, IPC/WHMA‑A‑620, J‑STD‑001; any relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Exposure to EMC/EMI fundamentals, shielding/grounding, and IP67/IP68 sealing practices.
  • Experience with battery safety (Li-ion handling, BMS basics), fuse/breaker selection, inrush limiting, and TVS.
  • Basic CAD (Fusion 360/SolidWorks) for simple bracket/jig edits; ECAD viewers (Altium, KiCad).
