As an Electrical Technician / Mechatronics Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and optimising electrical and mechanical systems to ensure reliable and efficient operations. You bring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving problems in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, and connect mechanical and electrical components and equipment
Perform inspections, testing, and analysis of electrical systems and functions
Detect and correct malfunctions, carrying out safety checks and quality assurance measures
Keep accurate records of maintenance and operational activities in shift reports
Handle installation, commissioning, and servicing of electrical machinery and infrastructure
Evaluate electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Design and modify electrical schematics using WSCAD or similar CAD software
Work with PLC systems (such as S7/TIA Portal) for automation and control applications
Maintain and verify overall electrical safety of plant and equipment

Qualifications

Completed technical training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a similar discipline
Prior hands‑on experience in a related technical or maintenance role
Willingness to work in rotating shifts and occasionally on weekends
Fluent in German, with good command of English
Strong understanding of drive technology, building systems, and automation processes
Confident in reading circuit diagrams and using diagnostic tools such as metal detectors
Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting
Technically minded, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
