Electronics Technician – Devices and Systems (m/f/d)

We are Mirion Technologies GmbH – an innovative mid-sized company based in Munich and part of the international Mirion Group. For over 60 years, we have been developing and manufacturing high-quality measurement instruments for radioactivity and nuclear measurement technology. Around 80 employees work closely together in a modern environment, producing devices as custom builds or in small series according to the highest quality and safety standards.

To strengthen our test field team, we are looking for an Electronics Technician who tests complex electronic and electromechanical systems, analyzes faults, and actively contributes to the quality assurance of our measurement devices.

Your Responsibilities

  • Testing of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical assemblies as well as complete devices
  • Wiring and functional testing of radiological measurement systems, including documentation
  • Fault analysis and repair of assemblies, devices, detectors, and complete measurement systems
  • Preparation of technical test reports (German/English)
  • Preparation and support of factory acceptance tests (FAT)
  • Collaboration on Python-based test automation and execution of software configuration tests
  • Commissioning as well as analysis and troubleshooting at customer sites

Your Profile

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering (e.g., Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems) or a degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field
  • Confident hands‑on work with electronic devices – combined with a strong interest in programming, particularly in Python
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in a technical environment
  • Solid knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology
  • Proficient in Python (ideally in test automation)
  • Structured, quality‑oriented, and self‑reliant working style
  • Willingness to work with sensitive measurement technology and test sources
  • Fluent in German, English at least B2 level in a technical context
  • Team‑oriented, reliable, and flexible
  • Willingness to travel for worldwide service assignments
