Embedded Firmware Engineer - HDMI / Displayport

This leading semiconductor company urgently seeks Embedded Firmware Engineers to be based at their R+D Centre in Munich. The Embedded Firmware Engineers will be working as part of a small, high calibre, team developing software and firmware for high speed PHYs (HDMI, Displayport etc.) used worldwide in the automotive industry. The Embedded Firmware Engineers will be involved in the complete development lifecycle from initial definition, through simulation to delivery.

You will have completed your degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or similar. Since graduating you will have been developing firmware or embedded software in C, C++ or Assembler at hardware interface gaining experience with different MCU’s and microprocessors of all sizes. Bare metal development experience of small micro-controllers would also be beneficial. You should have some understanding of high speed interfaces (HDMI, Displayport, USB etc.) and any exposure to I2C, SPI interfaces would also be a benefit.

You must have excellent English and German language proficiency (minimum C1) and already be living in, and fully authorised to work in, the European Union.
