Embedded Security Software Engineer – AUG / 60% Remote / German

You will join an agile team dedicated to the secure implementation of embedded software within radio communication infrastructures.

Responsibilities

As an Embedded Security Software Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Software Architecture : Execute the full lifecycle—from specification to design and implementation—of embedded components for radio systems.
• Security & Compliance : Develop software in strict adherence to international standards for safety-critical and security-relevant certifications.
• Cross-Functional Synergy : Coordinate closely with hardware, firmware, and application teams to align system testing and software goals.
• Quality Assurance : Lead troubleshooting efforts and participate in the creation of rigorous unit and component testing protocols

Qualifications

As an Embedded Security Software Engineer your skills will include:

• Education : A university degree (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Programming : Strong command of C, C++, Rust, and Python, supported by tools like CMake and Git.
• Networking Knowledge : In-depth understanding of communication protocol layers and IP network standards.
• Languages : Professional negotiation-level fluency in both German and English
