Qualifications & Skills

• A degree in computer science (or comparable qualification) along with initial hands‑on experience in the field.
• Solid programming skills in C and familiarity with communication interfaces such as CAN, RS485, and Ethernet.
• Understanding of common industrial communication protocols including CAN, EtherCAT, TCP / IP, and UDP.
• Hands‑on experience with EPLAN or good knowledge in electrical drawings.
• Willingness to travel internationally (around 20%).
• Confident communication skills in German (C1) and English (minimum B2).
• Helpful additional knowledge includes basics of circuit design, power electronics, drive systems (e.g., asynchronous motors), and digital electronics.
• A valid Class B driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify software components for use in automotive transport equipment and intralogistic solutions.
• Diagnose technical issues and assist customers in resolving software‑related problems.
• Provide on‑site support during system start‑ups, including identifying and addressing control system faults.
