Reporting to the General Manager EMEA, the EMEA Sales Director Services will lead the regional Services organisation, driving strategy, commercial execution and operational excellence across EMEA. You will empower and develop a multicultural team across Service Sales and Service Administration, strengthening customer partnerships while elevating service performance and revenue growth. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity to shape the long‑term direction of our Services portfolio, collaborate cross‑functionally to solve complex customer challenges, and influence how our solutions create value in the market. The position can be based remotely in Switzerland, Munich or Northern Italy.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Achieve Service and Training revenue and growth targets for the EMEA region, PD targets, and customer satisfaction KPIs.
  • Develop the supporting strategies to make the region a source of growth and long‑term competitive advantage.
  • Create and sustain monthly forecasting process for each segment of the Services business to provide accurate and consistent revenue forecasting, including ad‑hoc analysis to drive problem solving.
  • Report out results, performance and countermeasures to the leadership team.
  • Lead the Service Administration team to deliver timely, best‑in‑class hardware service and deploy problem‑solving skills to manage customer escalations and deliver end‑to‑end resolutions to customer cases.
  • Manage Service Key Account and Dealer relationships, communication and process—including creating the offer, pricing, customer presentation, legal approval and delivery in partnership with Field Sales. Meet at least annually with the Top Ten customers (dealers and key accounts) to continue expansion and cultivate customer proximity / VoC.
  • Lead the Service Sales team to expand recurring revenue and regional service growth.
  • Embrace and rigorously apply VES fundamentals (Kaizen basics, VDM including leading weekly QDIP, standard work, VOC, 5S, PSP, VSM and TPI) and solid commercial fundamentals (funnel management, order and revenue forecasting, dealer/distributor management).
  • Foster collaboration between Service Admin, Tech Support, Service Operations and Product Management to make sure escalation processes are well defined and understood by the commercial organisation to ensure customer satisfaction and that the sales team is not directly involved.
  • Ensure proper communication with Service Operation to plan field service visits using territory management criteria and ensuring invoices are released on a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other functions and teams such as Service Depot, Field Service, Marketing, Applications, Product Management, Inside, Field and OEM sales to maximise commercial impact. Support product sales to successfully sell Point of Sales Contracts.
  • Work with Marketing to increase customer perception of the value obtained through X‑Rite Care Plans in all communication tools.
  • Develop a talent funnel (both internal and external) that will allow the team to be agile as evolving market needs change.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High degree of motivation, goal‑driven and self‑starter.
  • Proven track record of leadership experience.
  • Strong analytics, organisational and presentation skills.
  • Ability to coach, encourage and facilitate cooperation and teamwork.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year accredited college and MBA (highly desirable).
