Energy Storage Technical Support Engineer

Responsibilities

Work closely with the sales team to provide pre‑sales technical support, including customer technical consultations and solution development. Help articulate product value and address customer requirements to move projects forward.

Respond to customer technical inquiries, prepare technical documents (specifications, proposals, compliance statements), and support the sales process to secure project contracts.

Lead on‑site commissioning, acceptance testing, and grid connection for overseas energy storage projects. Ensure systems perform according to specifications and local grid codes.

Handle post‑sales technical issues, diagnose and resolve system faults remotely or on‑site. Provide timely solutions to minimize system downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.

Deliver product and technical training to customers, partners, and internal teams. Build local technical capabilities and ensure proper system operation and maintenance.

Qualifications

✅ Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, New Energy, or a related field.
✅ Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support, on‑site commissioning, or field service within the energy storage or related industry (e.g., BESS, PV, PCS).
✅ Deep understanding of energy storage system technologies, including batteries (LFP, etc.), PCS, BMS, thermal management, and basic system integration.
✅ Fluent in English – able to use English as a working language for technical communication, documentation, and customer training.
✅ Willing and able to travel internationally on a frequent basis. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, with a customer‑oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with overseas project commissioning (Europe, Southeast Asia, Middle East, etc.).
Familiarity with local grid codes, safety standards (IEC, UL, etc.), and communication protocols (Modbus, CAN, etc.).
Hands‑on experience with SCADA, data loggers, or remote monitoring platforms.
