The Institute for Satellite Geodesy and Inertial Sensing (SI) of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Bremen is primarily dedicated to research questions in the context of the use of quantum technologies and quantum sensors and develops quantum measurement techniques for innovative applications, including the realisation of prototype solutions.
In our Relativistic Mod modelling department, we support sensor development – particularly for space missions – throughout their entire lifecycle, from the concept phase right through to data analysis. To this end, we develop software packages for modelling satellites and their orbits, for systems engineering, for experiment control and for final data evaluation. The aim is to provide digital twins for different mission phases. You will further develop our existing software tools in the field of quantum technology modelling. In doing so, you will lay the foundations for the design of future satellite missions in the fields of quantum communication and quantum-based sensor technology.
We look forward to getting to know you!
