Engineer Production Processes & Equipment

Your new Role and Responsibilities

The Engineer Test Systems designs and deploys the necessary testing equipment and systems to ensure product verification and compliance with customer technical requirements.

  • Define the specifications and technical requirements for test equipment and tools and ensure their technical acceptance
  • Develop electrical test programs based on cable technical drawings and optimize test modules
  • Prepare micro-layouts and ensure the availability of all required equipment, tools, and infrastructure
  • Define and validate electrical test system parameters with relevant departments and ensure continuous improvement
  • Analyze the impact of technical changes on test equipment and update test modules accordingly
  • Develop technical instructions and operating procedures in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Organize and monitor preventive maintenance activities using standardized checklists
  • Supervise installation, relocation, or transfer of test equipment in the production area
  • Manage inventory status, identify scrap, and coordinate with the controlling department
  • Train newly recruited employees on test equipment and procedures
  • Perform FMEA activities and evaluate potential risks
  • Propose and evaluate improvement actions related to testing processes and equipment
  • Contribute to the resolution of internal and external customer complaints
  • Participate in testing new components and evaluate potential risks on test equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and maintain proper organization of storage areas
  • Provide regular reporting on activities and performance to management
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to processes, costs, and departmental results
  • Ensure successful completion of internal and external audits

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in automotive or manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering, capacity calculation, and line balancing
  • Good understanding of ergonomics and production flow optimization
  • Ability to manage technical changes and industrial projects
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and industrial tools
  • Fluent in French, good level of English (German/Spanish is a plus)
  • Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is a plus
  • Autonomous, results-driven, and strong team player
