Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop one or more cross‑functional engineering teams to achieve goals and objectives.

Create a positive, productive work environment that fosters teamwork, creativity, and collaboration.

Drive engineering and operational excellence, identifying training opportunities and career development strategies.

Build engineering capabilities to meet best practices in engineering and operations.

Collaborate with Product Manager and Product Designer on the team roadmap.

Recruit, hire, and retain engineering talent.

Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their impact on the company’s products and services.

Qualifications

Relevant experience in engineering management or a similar technical leadership role.

Strong communication skills, able to present complex technical information clearly to varied audiences.

Experience breaking large features into smaller deliverables to provide early value.

Passion for technology and software development.

Strong empathy, humility, and mindset for mentoring and effective delegation.

Great to have

Experience designing and implementing microservices in a complex ecosystem (Java, Kotlin, SpringBoot, AWS).

Front‑end experience (TypeScript, React, Tailwind).

Messaging and database expertise (RabbitMQ, Kafka, PostgreSQL).

Knowledge of leveraging Generative AI in software delivery.
