Environment, Health and Safety Consultant

Location: Germany (Onsite – 5 to 6 days a week)

Contract: 6-Month Freelance Contract

Client: A very large, client-obsessed company (name withheld, but you’ve definitely heard of them)

This is a full-time, on-site role for Health and Safety Consultants in various locations in Germany. The responsibilities include developing and implementing safety programs, ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations, conducting risk assessments, and managing workplace safety inspections. The role also involves leading accident investigations, and fostering a culture of safety and compliance within the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with teams to identify and mitigate risks while promoting a safe and sustainable working environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) principles
• Knowledge and experience in Occupational Health and Accident Investigation
• Skills in Employee Training and the development of safety and compliance programs
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk assessment practices
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively to foster a safety-first workplace culture
• Certification in EHS or Occupational Safety Management with a minimmum of 2.5 years of experince
• Prior experience in industrial or civil constructions sectors is highly desirable
• Microsoft Office capabilities and able to operate online sfaety platforms used for reporting.
• Drivers licence and car are mandatory for traveling.
