We are seeking an accomplished and entrepreneurial
General Manager, Europe
to spearhead the client's expansion and operations across the region. This is a
strategic and hands-on leadership role
ideal for a dynamic executive who thrives in fast-moving, high-impact environments. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our
European strategy ,
building regional partnerships ,
driving market entry , and
representing the company's vision
to stakeholders, regulators, and collaborators across the continent. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Expansion:
Develop and execute European growth strategy, including market entry, partnerships, and regulatory pathways. Leadership & Operations:
Establish and lead the European headquarters and team, ensuring operational excellence across functions such as commercial, medical, regulatory, and business development. Partnership Development:
Build strong relationships with biotech and pharma partners, academic institutions, investors, and government bodies. Commercial Growth:
Identify and pursue business opportunities, licensing deals, and collaborations that drive sustainable growth. Cultural Integration:
Serve as the key bridge between Chinese headquarters and European stakeholders, ensuring alignment in strategy, culture, and communication. Public Representation:
Represent the companyat industry conferences, regulatory meetings, and media engagements, enhancing our visibility and credibility in Europe. Qualifications
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in
biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences
sectors.
Deep understanding of
European regulatory environments , market dynamics, and industry networks.
Proven record in
establishing and scaling regional operations
or subsidiaries for global companies.
Strong business development acumen experience in partnerships, licensing, or M&A is a plus.
Native proficiency in Mandarin ; Fluency in English AND another European language is a strong advantage. The role would require regular interactions with China and Singapore based counterparts in both Commercial and R&D functions.
Entrepreneurial mindset agile, strategic, and comfortable building from the ground up.
