About the Role
You’ll shape the frontiers of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Simulation-based Design, Data-driven Processes, and Quantum Computing. You will collaborate closely with the R&D departments of our customers and contribute to both collaborative research initiatives and independent scientific work.

You’ll work with leading companies across engineering and aerospace, such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Airbus, Siemens, and MTU AeroEngines , as well as with top universities like MIT, Harvard, Stanford, and ETH Zurich .

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement advanced algorithms across AI, Data, Simulation, Processes, and Quantum Computing
• Lead the technical vision of interdisciplinary R&D projects
• Integrate emerging technologies and mentor young researchers
• Represent TWT at international conferences and forums

What You Bring

• PhD or Postdoc in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
• Deep expertise in AI, Machine Learning, or Digital Engineering
• Strong analytical and creative mindset
• Fluent in English and German
