FANATICS is a global market leader in licensed sports merchandise, trading cards, and collectibles. As part of our strategic expansion into Germany, we are opening a Pop-Up Store in Munich, designed to increase brand awareness following the success of our Global Flagship Store.

This Pop-Up Store is more than a retail location; it is a destination for collectors and fans, offering exclusive trading cards, authentic sports memorabilia, and merchandise from the world’s biggest leagues. The store is a hub for the collecting community, providing a unique brand experience.

Your Responsibilities

As Assistant Store Manager (m/f/d) , you will support the operational and commercial management of the Pop‑Up Store and ensure a high‑quality customer experience.

Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Support the Store Manager in leading, motivating, and developing the store team

  • Provide on‑the‑job coaching, training, and real‑time feedback

  • Act as a role model in service behaviour and brand representation

Sales & KPI Management

  • Assist in monitoring KPIs and achieving sales targets

  • Analyse daily sales figures and implement strategies to drive team performance

  • Support in converting customer curiosity into measurable sales outcomes

Customer Experience & Brand Representation

  • Ensure an engaging and immersive retail experience for collectors and sports fans

  • Deliver brand storytelling and product knowledge to enhance customer engagement

  • Maintain high standards of customer service, creating loyalty and repeat visits

Store Operations Support

  • Assist with merchandise management, stock control, and visual presentation

  • Ensure store operations comply with company standards and procedures

Your Profile

  • Passion or affinity for trading cards, collectibles, or sports memorabilia

  • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role, ideally in retail (other sectors considered)

  • Strong commercial awareness, comfortable working with KPIs and targets

  • Excellent customer service orientation (ausgeprägte Serviceorientierung)

  • Team‑oriented, collaborative, and motivating

  • Strong communication skills and confident presence on the sales floor

  • Structured, hands‑on, and proactive approach to store operations

Language Requirements

  • English – Proficient (mandatory; interviews conducted in English)
