Field Service Engineer (m/f/x) – Onto Innovation

Location: Stuttgart or Reutlingen, Germany.

Job Summary & Responsibilities

• Responsible for Installation, Repair and Maintenance of Onto Innovation products, including Metrology and Inspection tools.
• Install new tools within the European region; completing Engineering and Applications tasks.
• Respond to down tool situations across Europe and provide Maintenance when required.
• Document correctly and provide feedback to US factory as needed.
• Provide feedback to sales team; help identify possible leads for future sales.
• Provide applications feedback for continuous product improvement.

Qualifications

• Preferred Field Service experience in the Semiconductor Business.
• Previous knowledge of equipment fault detection; experience in electrical, mechanical, and software.
• Preferred experience in Semiconductor applications.
• College/University degree or several years of professional experience in engineering/E&I.
• Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting.
• Excellent interpersonal & customer communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Ability to travel regularly throughout Europe (~40% of time).
