Key Responsibilities

• Planning, preparing and executing field service activities on naval converter systems, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and on‑site technical support.
• Supporting product qualification and testing activities in collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and laboratories.
• Identifying improvement opportunities and customer pain points during service interactions, contributing to enhanced system performance and reliability.
• Managing service preparation and execution, including materials, tools, logistics, and documentation to ensure first‑time‑right delivery.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and proactively driving corrective actions to prevent equipment or process failures.

Qualifications For The Role

• Highly skilled in electrical engineering principles, power electronics, converter technologies and the marine / naval engineering market.
• 3–5 years of experience in field service engineering and technical troubleshooting (working as Field Service Engineer with electrical converters or similar power electronic systems).
• Highly adept in diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and technical documentation systems.
• Passionate about problem‑solving and continuous improvement.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Current valid work authorization in Germany.
