Finance Manager, EU Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA)

Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Manager to partner with our EU Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) team, driving cost‑to‑serve (CtS) reduction and improving FBA inventory health through cost‑out initiatives and targeted fee strategies.

The ideal candidate is a curious self‑starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments, brings a strong analytical foundation, and has a proven track record of delivering results through cross‑functional collaboration.

Reporting to the EU FBA Senior Finance Manager, you will own deep‑dive analyses into CtS reduction opportunities, lead planning and reporting mechanisms, and influence inbound (IB), placement and inventory strategy — including through targeted fee design. This role requires close partnership with business and finance teams across Europe, spanning Operations, FBA, and Supply Chain organizations.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Lead IB, placement and inventory strategy definition, including monetization levers and fee design aimed at reducing CtS.
• Drive planning cycles to reflect cost‑out initiatives and IB/inventory strategy into financial plans.
• Identify, develop, and track cost‑out initiatives across the EU FBA network.
• Deliver trend and gap analyses versus plan, generating actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Define, maintain, and evolve performance metrics to strengthen controllership over inventory performance.
• Evaluate business cases through ROI analysis to support decisions on growth, profitability, and cost savings.
• Build and maintain deep expertise in inventory management, inbound operations, and CtS dynamics, staying current on initiatives, challenges, and opportunities across the business.

Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in financial/business analysis
• Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
• Experience partnering with business leaders in highly complex and dynamic business settings
• Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience in financial analysis, retail buying, retail planning & allocation, product/project management, marketing, business development, consulting, negotiation or supply chain
• Experience in Retail, FMCG, eCommerce or Supply Chain
