Finance Manager (fmd)

Your mission

Join aevoloop one of Europes fast-scaling deep-tech startups and build the financial backbone that enables the scaling of pioneering next-generation plastics.

Responsibilities

• Reporting & Investor Updates: You are responsible for internal and external reporting end-to-end ensuring that management and investors have access to precise and up-to-date financial data at all times.
• Closings & Compliance: You steer the monthly and annual closings. Acting as the primary point of contact for our tax advisors you guarantee that all tax and accounting deadlines and standards are met.
• Operational Accounting & Process Automation: Preliminary accounting in DATEV Unternehmen Online is your foundation. You also drive automation and implement tools and workflows to make invoice approvals and payment transactions more efficient.
• Planning & Liquidity: You secure our runway. You support the creation of budgets cash flow projections and rolling forecasts providing the figures needed for upcoming fundraising rounds.
• Controlling & Cost Management: You keep an eye on the numbers. Through target-vs-actual analyses you identify deviations early on and drive initiatives to use our funds as effectively as possible.

Your profile

• You have collected at least 2 years of professional experience in finance ideally in a dynamic startup auditing or consulting.
• You work in a structured and analytically precise manner. At the same time you are proactive solution-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
• You are not looking for a purely administrative role. You enjoy building things from scratch (Builder Mindset) and defining processes yourself rather than just executing them.
• You are fluent in German and bring very strong English skills.
