About The Opportunity

Are you a detail-driven finance professional ready to make an impact across international markets? We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Financial Controller to take ownership of our financial operations in Germany and the Netherlands. In this key role, you’ll strengthen controls, ensure compliance, and help drive performance across two exciting regions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Strengthen Financial Controls – Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial processes to minimize write-offs, enhance cost management, and safeguard revenue.
• Ensure Accuracy & Compliance – Uphold group accounting standards (HGB & IFRS), ensuring precision and full compliance across both markets.
• Own Balance Sheet Reconciliations – Manage monthly reconciliations, proactively resolving issues and ensuring financial integrity.
• Manage the Financial Close – Lead the monthly close process with accuracy and timeliness (Day 4 close).
• Support Regulatory & Audit Requirements – Liaise with auditors and assist with regulatory reporting for a seamless process.
• Drive Efficiency – Collaborate with cross-functional finance teams to streamline workflows and improve processes.
• Deliver Insightful Reporting – Produce timely daily, weekly, and monthly reports that help guide strategic decisions.
• Provide Actionable Analysis – Turn data into insights and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

What Sets You Apart

• Education: Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
• Experience: Several years in financial controlling, ideally in an international company.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial accounting (HGB & IFRS).
• Tech Skills: Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with MS Dynamics is a plus.
• Languages: Fluent in German and English (C1); Dutch language skills are an advantage.
• Personal Qualities: Analytical mindset, structured approach, accuracy, reliability, and a strong sense of teamwork.
