Financial Controller - Soho House Berlin (m/f/d)

The venue SOHO HOUSE BERLIN is a private members' club and hotel in a listed building in the heart of the capital. The property offers restaurants, a fitness studio, rooftop pool, in-house cinema and a spa, with 65 rooms, 20 flats and four lofts. The SOHO HOUSE group includes houses in multiple locations and THE STORE X, a platform for ideas and culture. Our aim is to present an experience space that exceeds customer expectations of traditional retail and shopping.

Responsibilities

The Financial Controller oversees all financial aspects of the hotel and member's club, ensuring accurate financial reporting, forecasting and budget management. This is an on-site role (remote work is not available).

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard hotel assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to support strategic decision making.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and other financial obligations.
• Manage the hotel's accounting and finance team, providing leadership and direction to ensure team productivity and development.
