Define and lead the diversification of TÜV SÜD’s Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services into the global aerospace sector, including civil aviation, defense, UAVs, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), and space.
Develop and implement a global go-to-market strategy aligned with TÜV SÜD’s 2030 vision.
Conduct market assessments and competitive benchmarking; identify relevant standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., EASA, FAA, NADCAP, AS9100).
Build and maintain relationships with aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, MROs, and startups; drive lead generation through industry events and digital channels.
Define capability roadmap for aerospace services; coordinate lab upgrades and accreditation requirements (e.g., DO-160, fire, fatigue testing).
Collaborate with HR to recruit aerospace experts and launch internal upskilling programs.
Support regional sales teams with value propositions and marketing plans under the “Aerospace by TÜV SÜD” branding.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent; MBA preferred.
5+ years of experience in aerospace or automotive TIC industry in strategic, technical, or commercial roles.
Strong knowledge of aerospace regulations, standards, and certification ecosystems.
Experience managing cross-functional international teams and executing global strategies.
Technical understanding of EMC, RF, battery, environmental, cyber, and safety testing (preferred).
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Willingness to travel globally.

Additional Information
The anticipated annual base pay range for this full‑time position is $130,000 – $170,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target, subject to eligibility and other requirements.
Comprehensive benefits package includes 401(k) plan with employer match, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 2 weeks for other parents, health plans (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance and disability, and generous paid time off.
