Forward Deployed Engineer

We are an AI-first startup building an applied AI platform used by leading enterprises to automate complex, knowledge-intensive workflows. Our product integrates deeply into existing enterprise systems and uses modern LLM and agent architectures to deliver real, measurable value in production environments.

We are now hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to act as the technical bridge between our platform and our customers. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success.

The Role As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will own end-to-end implementations at enterprise customers. You will work directly with IT teams and operational leaders, deeply understand their infrastructure and workflows, integrate our platform into their stack, and ensure successful go-lives. This is not pure consulting. You will write production code, build and debug integrations, design data pipelines, and contribute back to the core product when patterns emerge across deployments.

You will: Lead technical implementations at large enterprise customers Integrate with ERP, CRM, document management, and internal systems Debug APIs, authentication flows, data pipelines, and distributed services Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders Translate customer requirements into product insights Identify repeatable patterns and help productize them into scalable features

Experience 1–4+ years in solutions engineering, implementation engineering, technical consulting, forward deployed engineering, or Founding experience in an early-stage startup Experience shipping integrations that real users depend on Prior experience at a startup or high-performance consulting environment is a strong plus

Technical Skills Strong Python skills Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs Solid understanding of relational databases Familiarity with cloud environments and distributed systems Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, or document management platforms Comfortable debugging logs, authentication flows, and data inconsistencies

Profile Fluent German for enterprise customer interactions Strong English for internal collaboration High agency, low ego, strong energy Deep user empathy and ability to translate business problems into technical solutions Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving fast in an early-stage environment
