Location: Düsseldorf, Germany (Remote with 1 - 2 days onsite per month)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Duration: 9 months initial (extension possible)

Rate: 900 - 1,100 EUR per day

Languages: German & English (fluent)

Overview

Discover are seeking an experienced Freelance SAP TM Consultant to support a leading retail company based in Düsseldorf. The consultant will play a key role in optimising and enhancing TM processes within the S/4HANA environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP TM configuration and process optimisation activities
• Support transportation planning, freight order management, carrier selection, and settlement processes
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP TM solutions
• Integrate SAP TM with SD, MM, EWM, and FI modules
• Support enhancements, testing (SIT/UAT), and go-live activities
• Manage interfaces with logistics service providers and external systems
• Provide functional specifications for developments and support RICEFW objects

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP TM experience
• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA environments
• Strong knowledge of transportation planning, execution, and freight settlement
• Experience in retail or high-volume distribution environments
• Strong integration knowledge across logistics modules
• Experience working in international and cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
